sum.md docs

sum.md helps you turn scattered information into clean, reusable context. Summarize anything, deliver anywhere.

What it is

sum.md is a personal knowledge base. Save a URL, paste some text, or pipe in a file — each entry is automatically summarized, tagged, and embedded. From then on you can search it semantically or hand it to an AI agent as context.

What it solves

Notes, links, and articles pile up faster than you can organize them, and they rarely resurface when you actually need them. sum.md keeps everything in one place, summarized and searchable, so the right context is ready the moment you — or your agent — ask for it.

How it works

Every entry moves through the same pipeline:

Capture → Summarize → Store → Retrieve → Inject

You capture content from any surface, sum.md summarizes and embeds it, and it becomes retrievable — as semantic search, or injected directly into an AI conversation.

Common use cases

Build a context library for Claude Code and other MCP agents, save research while you browse, or capture notes straight from your terminal. Whatever the source, the result is the same clean, searchable markdown.
